SERVED FRESH!: @rubyibarra - "Taking Names (f/ @BambuDePistola & @NUMP_Trump)" (Video)

Asians in Hip Hop are no longer a novelty item.
Over the past few years, we've seen the rise of P-Lo, DUMBFOUNDEAD, Timothy DeLaGhetto, Kid Trunks, and a slew of other Asian Hip Hop artists make waves across the nation.
Not to mention, K-Pop has had major success in crossing over to America in recent years.
But diving a bit further into this movement, it's very hard to miss the fact that Asian women have been leading a charge of their own - a charge that's even more gritty and fierce than the former.
You may recall the "island women rise" anthem "US" that exploded on YouTube over the Summer with an all-female cast.
Standing on the frontline of that movement is Bay Area native Ruby Ibarra.
After the success of "US," Ruby kept her foot on the gas and tapped on the shoulders of FIlipino rap veterans BAMBU and Nump for "TAKING NAMES."
