We are in a pandemic. Pandemics are based off diseases; viruses. Phones have viruses. So are we getting rid of apps due to Coronavirus?

[Hell nah. Sounded legit though lol].

Its actually alot simpler than that: National Security. [Wait....really?]

CNN.com reports that "The United States is 'looking at' banning Chinese social media apps, including TikTok, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Monday." He then added that "people should only download the app 'if you want your private information in the hands of the Chinese Communist Party.'"

The concern or allegations are that the "Chinese-based app" is providing user info to the Chinese government. The thing is...TikTok says that its data centers are NOT located in China, and that data is NOT subject to Chinese law. Also, U.S. user data is stored in the United States.

Regardless, that is the conversation in the air right now. And if your kids are like the nieces and nephews I have, they are all over TikTok. That's life right now, especially during the isolation period we are in.

So imagine a world without TikTok. [Do you see your kids losing their minds?]

That's the world we may be in soon. [Queue Renegade music].
