Everyone knew this day was coming, especially the alleged members of the now infamous Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods : Tekashi 6ix9ine just had his first official day on the stands testifying in Federal Court against the guys he used to run with. And as Tekashi states, these are the guys he owes his career to. As USA TODAY reports, Tekashi was asked what he got in return for his involvement with the Brooklyn gang and he stated: "My career. I got the street credibility. The videos, the music, the protection - all of the above."

Well all that has gone away, especially with him now being labeled by most as "a snitch" and "a rat." Even Snoop Dogg has come out with his view on Tekashi, through emojis on his Instragram. It was posted just before Day One of his federal testimony, but it clearly is in regards to the nature of his plea bargain and how people in the streets feel.

I am not one to comment on the justification or moral debate regarding his "cooperation" - which he just testified started literally the day after he got arrested on racketeering charges- but I will summarize some the facts from his day in court testifying.

  • he said he became a member in November 2017 and participated in violent crimes (such asshootings, assaults and drug trafficking).
  • 6ix9ine specifically identified Aljermiah "Nuke" Mack and Anthony "Harv" Ellison as Nine Trey Gang Members, who are both on trial.
  • Tekashi also explained how his 2017 song "Gummo" him to many of the Nine Trey members; even pausing the music video in court to point out specifc members of the gang.

Again, these are just a few bullet points, but if you want more of the details you can get them from USA TODAY here or TMZ here

There is a lot of speculation as to how this will all end, specifically for Tekashi, but it is all hearsay until we see for ourselves. Time will tell, and this was only Day One. For now, Tekashi is "safe with the other snitches," as TMZ puts it. But again, its Day One.

In the meantime, here are some videos about it all.
