We all have seen the videos and the memes by now: Beyonce sitting courtside seemingly giving another women the evil eye fro talking to Jay-Z at Wednesday night's NBA FINALS, game 3 in Oakland.

Well the power of social media has flexed once again and thaty woman wanted none of it.

Stepping back a bit, the woman being referred to is Nicole Curran, the wife of Golden State Warriors owner Joe Lacob. In an interview on ESPN she says that she was merely "trying to be a good hostess" (because her husband owns the team and invited Jay and Bey) and offer Jay-Z a drink. She says he accepted, and then she asked if he wanted a lime.  Regardless, of the context and what was said, social media went crazy and ran with it... to the point where Curran said that she received death threats on social media and even deleted her Instagram account.

The smoke is real people. This woman deleted her social media after getting heat for trying to be a hopsitable.

Curran said, "I've never experienced cyber bullying like this. I can't believe our players go through this. That kids go through this."
