Nail salons in much of California may reopen (With county approval)

September 22, 2020

In another move forward either because of the momentum of the decreasing infection rate across the state, or the growing pressure from the nail salon industry, it was announced that nail salons may reopen across the state with approval from their local county health departments.

Counties across California have continued to improve in the battle against the spread of coronavirus with:

*Alameda, Riverside, San Luis Obispo, San Mateo and Solano moving from the purple tier (the most restrictive), to the red tier.

*El Dorado, Nevada and Lassen moved from red to Orange.

*Mariposa moved to the yellow tier (least amount of restrictions)
