Mayor Steinberg announces curfew for Sacramento

UPDATE: The city of Sacramento will start curfew June 1st, 8pm-5am, each day until futher notice. 500 troops of the National Gaurd was seen arriving today to assist imposing the new curfew and curb futher aggression. 

After several days of protesting which have resulted in property damage across downtown Sacramento, Mayor Darrell Steinberg has announced that the city of Sacramento will have a curfew tonight.  They have not announced the exact time yet, but will probably be at 7 or 8pm. 

So far an estimated $10 million in damages to well over 100 businesses has happened over the past couple days which is what is played a part in Mayor Steinberg calling for a curfew.  The City Council should be meeting later today where Mayor Steinberg will recommend the curfew.
