Boo at the Zoo cancelled at Sacramento Zoo due to Covid

September 30, 2020

As Sacramento, and the country, continues to try and climb out of the massive economic and public health toll from Covid-19, unfortunately more businesses and events continue to fall victim to the pandemic, including the Sacramento Zoo's Boo at the Zoo.  A family favorite for 16 years at the Sacramento Zoo, it provided many families a safe option for trick or treating as well as the extra treat of seeing the awesome variety of animals.  Despite Sacramento moving up to the red tier with some more relaxed restrictions, the Sacramento Zoo made the tough decision to not hold the event and look out for the publics safety over the potential money boost (the event can take in $100,000 each year).  Much respect to Sacramento Zoo and everything they are doing!    For more info: Click Here

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in Auction 2020! We are so grateful for the outpouring of support from people far and wide. -- Our animals thank you, too!! . #SacramentoZoo
