Over a week since George Floyd died while being subdued by now fired police officers, all 4 officers involved have been officially charged, including an upgraded charge to the already arrested Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin to second degree murder.  Minnesota U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar shared the below tweet.

Chauvin was the officer who had his knee held down on Floyd's neck for almost 9 minutes and the additional former officers are Thomas Lane and J.A. Keung who were on Floyd's back, and Tou Thoa who was standing next to the officers.  Almost a week of protest have followed across the entire country not only for the death of George Floyd, but for the countless number of black lives taken by the police over the years and often those officers not facing any charges.
