The Latest Closures in Sacramento related to the Corona Virus

Several changes have been made to our everyday life because of the Coronavirus. 

The Sacramento Bee shared that Gov. Gavin Newsom called for businesses and organizations to cancel or postpone events and gatherings with more than 250 people. 

Since the announcement was made on Wednesday several statements have been released from school districts, sports organizations and entertainment venues.

Here are some of the major announcements regarding closures in our area: 

Sacramento City Unified School District has cancelled classes until March 19th. They are still planning to provide students with meals throughout the closure. Read more below.

Students at Sacramento State have had classes moved online for the remainder of the semester. 

The Sacramento Kings are keeping us up to date with the NBA suspension. None of their players have tested positive for the Coronavirus.

Venues including the Golden 1 Center, Ace of Spades and Harlows have made changes regarding the coronavirus.
