Starting today, the City of Sacramento will start fining people using e-scooters and e-bikes for parking and riding violations.

The city is enforcing riders to use the bike line and to park vehicles in spots that will not block sidewalks or curbs

The fine for riding on the sidewalk is a hefty $207 and the penalty for blocking parking is a fine of $27.50.
