Diddy used his platform and media outlet Revolt TV to bring together public figures to address the effects of the Coronavirus in colored communities, especially pertaining to Black Americans.

Some of the panel members included CNN commentator, Van Jones, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rev. Al Sharpton.

The town hall was aimed at addressing the reported disproportionate Coronavirus cases and deaths in Black communities. Multiple sources, including CNN, the New York Times and ABC news have reported the disproportionate numbers.

Experts explained that this community may be at higher risk because more members of colored communities are likely to be essential workers and may not have access to paid sick leave.

However, the conversation wasn't solely grim. The panel discussed how members and allies could come together to raise awareness in their communities.
