It was the year of Beyoncé at the 2016 VMAs. Following last night’s presentation, Beyoncé has surpassed Madonna for the most Moonman awards of all time. Beyoncé took home awards for Video of the Year, Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, Breakthrough Long Form Video, Best Choreography, Best Direction, Best Cinematography and Best Editing, bringing her VMA total to 22, compared to Madonna’s 20, Billboard reports.
