The trend sweeping the internet and world, “planking”, the act of laying light as a feather, stiff as a board — like a plank of wood, on ANY object or surface, and having someone snap a picture of you for posterity. Nearly everybody in Hollywood is into it.
But one celebrity is NOT feeling it AT ALL, because of alleged racial overtones.

Rapper and actor Xzibit took to Twitter to express his extreme disapproval of the trend of “planking.”
“Planking is THE dumbest sh-t ever,” Xzibit tweeted (via TMZ). “#Planking was a way to transport slaves on ships during the slave trade, its not funny. Educate.”
“Don’t get it twisted,” he continued. “I care less where your dumb as*es lay face down and take pictures of the sh-t, I’m just telling you where it came from.”
What do you think of the “planking” trend? Your thoughts…
