John Wall Signs With Reebok for $25M…

Yeah, buddy! John Wall may have not played a single NBA game yet, but the University of Kentucky product has plenty of reasons to dance. Sources are stating that the 19-year-old NCAA National Freshman of the year, and projected #1 draft pick in the 2010 NBA Draft has signed a 5-year $25 million sneaker deal with Reebok. The rookie sneaker deal is the largest of it’s kind since LeBron James famously signed a $90 million deal out of high school with Nike. In contrast, last year’s #1 overall pick, Blake Griffin, signed a deal with Nike for $400,000 per year. Sources are also stating that they are hoping that Wall can fill the franchise void left by former 76ers guard, Allen Iverson.
The 2010 NBA Draft is slated for June 24th, at the Theater in Madison Square Garden. The Washington Wizards are expected to select Wall with the #1 pick.
