Beyonce “A Star is Born” remake…
Beyonce is being eyed for the lead role in Warner Bros’s remake of A Star Is Born, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The studio has enlisted Will Fetters to write the script for the film about an up-and-coming starlet who becomes romantically involved with a well-known male star as their careers go in differing directions.

The Hollywood Reporter says that the singer’s name has “surfaced in connection with the lead role” but she is “not officially involved at this point.”
The new Star will be the fourth version of the story, the most famous of which starred Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson in 1976.
This won’t be Bey’s first trip to the big screen. The former Destiny’s Child singer has appeared in box office offerings like Obsessed, Dreamgirls, and Cadillac Records. Beyonce also starred in MTV’s made-for-TV hip-hopera Carmen.
